Initiatives see the light of day and then fall a little into oblivion… The Great Green Wall of Africa is one of them. The African Union‘s large-scale project is to plant 8,000 km of greenery, crossing the continent from Dakar to Djibouti. The documentary The Great Green Wall sheds light on this ambitious project that began in 2007.
